The Long Beach Laser
Center offers VISX
WaveScan Custom Cornea
technology and Custom
Vue LASIK. This FDA
approved technology
provides a new
diagnostic system that
captures a "fingerprint"
of the eye that is 25
times more accurate than
what was previously
measurable. WaveScan
evaluates more than
nearsightedness,
farsightedness, and
astigmatism; it captures
other, more specific
imperfections in each
individual's vision.
This data is then used
to generate an
individualized treatment
for a CustomVue
procedure.
We are one of a select
few to offer IntraLASIK,
the latest generation,
all laser LASIK. In
addition to providing
control, IntraLASIK
makes laser vision
correction possible for
some patients who were
not candidates for
traditional LASIK.
Our center has both
NIDEK and VISX lasers
on-site. This allows our
surgeons to choose the
technology best suited
to your specific vision
